YouTube 6.0 Brings Live Chat to Phones and Tablets [APK Download]

The Live Chat feature on YouTube during live streams isn't particularly new. It's been around in one form or another since the migration to Hangouts began, but it's also only existed in desktop format. An update to the YouTube app (version 6.0) brings Live Chat functionality to mobile devices.

Per Internet tradition, the chat window on a YouTube live stream isn't exactly a source of unparalleled wisdom and erudition. The comments are regularly more in line with what one might have found in an AOL chat room circa 1999, but hey, now you can view those comments from your phone rather than wait until you can get to a desktop to appreciate all that trolling.
