HTC owners have been waiting for the Android 4.2.2 update to their devices for a while now, but speculation about when that would the release would take place has just ended. HTC Malaysia released an update on their Facebook page, stating that the update would be released to the HTC One Dual SIM, One Mini and One Max this week.

The update will be rolling out in stages, so users might still have to be a little patient before they get the update. The rollout may take as long as a couple weeks to be completed.

The update will bring the new KitKat style notifications bar with white icons, as well as Sense 5.5, cloud print support, and an upgraded Gallery app. “Ok, Google” voice commands have also been added to the Voice Search feature.
