Today, Sony has announced a new member to the Xperia family. The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is exactly what you would expect. It is a smaller version of their flagship Xperia Z1 handset. A 4.3-inch display is great for people that do not want monstrous 5-inch phones. And users will not be sacrificing size for specs. Just like the Z1, it has a 20.7MP camera. It even has Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor and a 2300mAh battery. The only area that has been downgraded is the resolution of the display. The Z1's 1080p and this is 720p.
When the Z1 Compact goes on sale in February, it will be available in four colors — white, pink, yellow, and black.
