HTC One

Not many Android flagship phones are released around the holidays, at least that's been the case in recent memory— but specs rumors are the next best thing, right?

After receiving information yesterday regarding the LG G3, we have rumors today regarding the specs of the 2nd generation HTC One. Hit the break for more.

Recent photos of a 3D-printed 2nd generation HTC One were just released— the actual device could be unveiled at the end of February at Mobile World Congress 2014.

Here are the (unconfirmed) specs we're currently looking at:

  • 5-inch display (vs. previous 4.7-inch), and a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution (same PPI as Samsung Galaxy S4)
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 OR Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (with the 805, the device could output video at 4K resolution)
  • Relatively similar form factor— two front facing speakers, BoomSound branded
  • Either a microphone hole near rear camera or a double-flash (suggested by hole near camera lens portal)
  • 4-UltraPixels on rear camera, 2.1MP on front camera
  • 16GB option w/ microSD slot, 32GB option w/ microSD slot
  • Will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat
