We finally have comments on the Logitech Revue. It had gone from being one of the most anticipated devices to one of the biggest duds in recent memory. Not even a huge price reduction generated consumer interest. CEO Guerrino De Luca admits the launch “a mistake of implementation of a gigantic nature”. De Luca goes on to add Logitech has “brought closure to the Logitech Revue saga”, adding there are “no plans to introduce another box to replace Revue”. It’s a sad conclusion to a product that once had immense potential. Here’s hoping another manufacturer will be able to learn from Logitech’s flop and come up with a new variation of Google TV.
