Spaces, which Google introduced us to last summer, is going to be shut down this spring. Its page on Google Support says the entire thing will get the plug pulled on April 17. Before that, on March 3, Google will convert Spaces to a ready-only state.

Google said this about Spaces' failure:

“Our goal with Spaces was to create a better small-group sharing experience, and we'll use what we've learned to improve other Google products and services. Thanks again for your support.”

Between now and the shutdown date, you can obtain still interact with content. Google is allowing users to see, save, print, and delete content and spaces until then.
