motorola_moto_x_pure_edition_closeup_blur_TAWe've already heard some rumblings about a refreshed Moto E lineup, but it looks like that won't be the only model to see an upgrade soon. A listing from Zauba has hinted at a Moto X3, which could be all kinds of different things.

After the original Moto X launched, Motorola didn't work on a direct sequel. Instead, we got a refreshed Moto X, then the Moto X Sport and Moto X Pure, and so on. If anything, we should be at the Moto X4 or X5 at this point, which makes this Moto X3 name all the more confusing. With that being said, Lenovo likes the letter/number naming scheme (like the K4 Note, Vibe X3 and Vibe P1, plus many others) so it's very likely that Motorola might shift naming conventions now that they're under Lenovo's wing.

Aside from the confusing name, all we know about the Moto X3 is that it appears to have a 5-inch screen and a single SIM, GSM device. Everything else is up in the air, which means this may end up being something completely unrelated to the current Moto X line. Without more info, it's tough to tell.

However you want to slice it, we're bound to see more leaks leading up to an official announcement about some of these new phones. Fingers crossed we won't have to wait too long.
