Blinged out Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge now in 24K gold

Not satisfied with the color choices available for the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge or perhaps just want some more bling in your life? You are in luck then as Goldgenie is back with a new 24K gold plated option for both of Samsung’s latest devices.

Even though the new Samsung flagships just started shipping this week, Goldgenie is ready to start taking orders on either device. The 24K gold plated versions get the special treatment applied to the back plate, the frame and various trim bits like the buttons and camera. The only parts left original are the glass screen and the material underneath that glass.

Along with the gold plating, Goldgenie applies their Total Armour Protection. The phone also gets an upgrade in packaging thanks to a special cherry oak finished box with a place for the phone, all accessories that ship with it, and an extra drawer.

The gold plated Galaxy S7 can be ordered for £2,097 ($2,967 USD) while the Galaxy S7 Edge runs £2,297 ($3,250 USD). You do get free shipping with your order, which requires a 50% deposit up front, although Goldgenie does not indicate what shipping availability will be like.

Are people really spending $3,000 to get a gold plated S7? I doubt it.
