WhatsApp voice calling is coming, here is what it could look like

Voice calling for WhatsApp was announced at the start of 2014 with an arrival scheduled for the second quarter. The year is about to end and the voice calling update is still not here. While there is no word as to when WhatsApp will be updated with voice calling, we have a mockup from Androidworld to give us an idea of what to expect.

The app will allow voice calls to be made utilizing 3G, 4G, or WiFi networks. To remember exactly what was said in a conversation, WhatsApp has an optional feature built-in to record calls.
