It's no surprise that Sony just announced their new selfie-centric smartphone today after teasing it yesterday. The Xperia C3 is being touted as the “world's best selfie smartphone” with its “PROselfie” cam along with specific selfie apps. It sports a 5 MP front-facing camera along with a soft LED flash and Superior Auto Mode.

The rest of the specs include a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display at 267 ppi, a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor (probably a Snapdragon 400), Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, microSD slot for expanded storage, 8 MP rear camera with an Exmor RS sensor, Dual-SIM compatibility, and 2.500 mAh battery. It comes in at only 7.6 mm thick and weighs only 149.7 grams.

The Xperia C3 will be available in black, white, or mint and should be available in August starting in China.
