Official: HTC One to land on Verizon Wireless on August 22 for $199

Those of you on Verizon that have waited oh so patiently for the arrival of the HTC One will be happy to know that we actually have an official release date. Verizon just announced via Twitter that it will be available next Thursday, August 22 for $199 complete with the Verizon logo. At this point in the game, it is probably worth waiting to see what the One Max is all about. Of course, there is no guarantee that one will wind up on Verizon. Anyone going to grab one?

If 32 or 64, and not only available in that stupid blue, then yes. If it sucks, VZ has a 14 day return and I buy an S4 or iPhone.

The whole lack of updates to the OS on Androids really has me bothered. My old Samsung never received one update from either Samsung or Verizon in 2 years. That is unacceptable.

Screw it. Get an external sd card. Oh wait the One doesn’t offer that. Sorry not interested

My Verizon galaxy s4 has 32GB. Thought about waiting for the One but it took too long for them to offer it.

Not if its is limited to 16gb like Verizon’s Galaxy S4.
