Last week we got word that the Moto X will feature Magic Glass as in you won’t find a gap between the Gorilla glass and the back. Now we have some really nice images of the front plate of the phone to feast our eyes on. We actually got to see very similar images earlier in the month, but these are much better quality.
Rumors have the phone at $299, but I have a feeling Google and Motorola will shock us with a $199 to $250 price point. I know the specs aren't wowing the hardcores, but if you think about it, they are more than enough for the average Joe. What matters most is the performance and user experience. 1080p and/or quad-core means nothing to most people walking into their local carrier store. Hit the break for more images.

Not sure I would choose the X at my usual upgrade window – I’m usually more of an HTC One or S4 buyer. In a situation though where say I need to replace a phone during the second year of a contract, and I had the following choices:
1.) Pay a 100 dollar deductible to get an insurance replacement that’s possibly a rebuild and at the same time, maybe I’m tired of the phone and wouldn’t want another
2.) Buy a new high-end phone at full non-subsidized price
3.) Buy the Moto X for 199
Option 3 might look really good at that point.
