Samsung announces the Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy mini 2, Both headed to Three UK soon

Samsung just announced the followups to the Galaxy Ace and the Galaxy mini. Of course they are appropriately named the Galaxy Ace 2 and the Galaxy mini 2. They continue the trend of catering to users with active lifestyles who want something affordable.

The Galaxy Ace 2 (top left) features a 3.8-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display, a 800MHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 5MP rear camera with auto focus and flash, VGA front facing camera, 4GB of internal storage, 1,500mAh battery, HSPA+ at 14.4Mbps, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, USB 2.0, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The Galaxy mini 2 (top right) features a 3.27-inch HVGA (480 x 320) display, 800MHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 3MP rear camera with fixed focus, 4GB of internal storage, 1,300mAh battery, HSPA+ at 7.2Mbps, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, USB 2.0, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Shortly after the announcement, Three in the UK announced they would be carrying both devices. Samsung plans on releasing the Galaxy Ace 2 in the UK from April and the Galaxy mini 2 in France from March with a global rollout soon after.
