Sony continues single letter naming scheme with the Xperia P

Much like Samsung, it looks like Sony is going to adopt the single letter naming scheme moving forward. As you know it’s Sony Ericsson moving forward. They unveiled the Xperia S  at CES, and we recently told you about the Xperia U, which is the Kumquat or ST25i. Now we’re hearing that the LT22i or Nypon will be the Xperia P. We already have the Tablet S and Tablet P, so things are starting to tie together, but it doesn’t appear “P” means dual-screened.

The LT22i or Xperia P looks similar to the Xperia S, but will have a 4-inch qHD (960 x 540) display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, and an 8MP Exmor R camera sensor. Expect to see more of the Xperia P and Experia U next month at Mobile World Congress.
