Samsung Galaxy S II planning world domination with availability in 120 countries

The Samsung Galaxy S sold 14 million units in about 110 countries. Samsung is looking to better that with the Galaxy S II. The plan is for it to be available in 120 countries and 140 carriers.

Samsung is holding a media day event in South Korea to celebrate the launch. The Samsung Galaxy S II packs a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 4.27-inch (800 x 480) super AMOLED Plus display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Touchwiz 4.0, MHL port, and an 8 megapixal camera that records video in 1080p.

The Galaxy S II has been in limited sales in the UK and it is expected to hit all US carriers.
