Samsung is gearing up to launch its Galaxy S21 series during January next year with the 14th being pegged as the most likely date, and as you might expect there are rumors and leaks galore. Something that shouldn’t come as much of a shock is the fact that Samsung is improving the camera experience, and the latest ‘leak’ sheds some light on the upgraded ultra-wide lens.
The leaked specs come courtesy of prolific leaker Ice Universe who is gaining a reputation for reliability. Said be using the new IMX 563 camera sensor from Sony, the Galaxy S21 series are said to also sport a 123-degree wide-angle lens, which is 3-degree’s wider than the Galaxy S20 series. It’s also said to support dual PD autofocus which means the presence of Macro Mode on Samsung’s upcoming flagships without the need for a dedicated macro sensor.
With a month or so to go until the rumored January 14th launch date, the leaks are getting more and more accurate. What feature would you like to see included with the Galaxy S21 series?
