Check out the new USB-C earbuds for the Pixel 3 XL

Google made fun of Apple for removing the headphone jack in their phones, then proceeded to immediately kill the port in the Pixel 2. Of course it didn’t make a return in the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL, but Google does have some fancy new USB-C earbuds to at least eliminate the dongle and give you a taste of the Pixelbuds, just without wireless convenience.

To be clear, these are what’s shipping in the box with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, so you won’t have to buy them separately with your new phone. They really are basically Pixelbuds, including the live translation feature, but they don’t feature the touch controls on the earbuds themselves. The in-line controls activate the translation features and call up Google Assistant. Pricing is way easier to swallow, too, coming in at only $30.

If you’re rocking an older device and want to grab a pair, they’re up on the Google Store.
