Pixel 3 XL gets leaked, again, after being left in a Lyft car

Because the universe has decided that a phone being sold and unboxed before even being announced wasn’t enough, the Google Pixel 3 XL has leaked yet again after being left in the back of a Lyft car. At this point I’m pretty sure Google is just trying to stir up controversy and keep the phone in the headlines because this has gotten pretty ridiculous.

The device is supposedly a pre-production unit and was found after a Lyft driver checked his backseat. He originally thought it was his own Pixel 2 XL that had fallen until he noticed the big notch, and of course he immediately got everything uploaded to the internet.

There’s nothing else we can really glean from this leak that we don’t already know. There’s a pretty large notch on the front of the screen, and the design looks like every other leak and render so far. Since the device was locked there wasn’t much to dig into, but we’re expecting some pretty capable hardware from Google this time around, hopefully with wireless charging in tow.

It has to be the deepest notch in history. Glad I went for the G7.
