New images pop up of the Google Pixel 3 XL

Lots  of attention this week is focused on the launch of the Galaxy Note9 as sources try to get the scoop on the latest smartphone from Samsung. In the midst of that flurry of activity, others are looking a bit further down the road and managed to obtain some new images of the Google Pixel 3 XL smartphone. The images appear to confirm much of what we know already about the Pixel 3 XL and some new information in the form of an accessory that Google may be including with the phone.

The main image that has surfaced shows the front of the Pixel 3 XL and the notch. As in previous photos and images, the notch in this image appears to be quite tall compared to what we have seen from some other manufacturers and phone models. In reality it may be a bit of an illusion since Google’s new standards for notches means it should not be any taller than what the top notification bar would be so it can blend in if a user wants to go in that direction.

On the back of the device, this latest image shows the Google “G” logo is now in place. The shorted top portion can also be seen along with the fingerprint scanner located on the back of the phone.

One new item that surfaced with this batch of photos is a set of Pixel Bud style earbuds. They appear to be packaged up so that they can be included in the box when someone buys a new Pixel 3 XL. In addition, the earbuds have a USB-C connection so they can be plugged in directly instead of having to use a USB-C to 3.5mm converter.
