JBL’s Link View smart display with Google Assistant is available to pre-order for $250

After its announcement at CES 2018 way back in January, JBL’s Link View smart display with Google Assistant built-in has finally become available to pre-order with shipping scheduled to begin from September 3rd. The news comes after Lenovo’s Smart Display went on sale just last week in eight and ten-inch variants with orders already shipping.

JBL’s Link View smart display has a price tag of $250, so it also costs a little more than either of the Lenovo models. What do you get for your hard-earned cash if you buy the oval-shaped JBL Link View?

  • 8-Inch High-definition display
  • 5MP Front-facing camera
  • PrivacySwitch camera shutter and microphone mute slider
  • Splash-proof (IPX4)
  • Chromecast built-in
  • Google Assistant built-in
  • Wireless Bluetooth streaming (Bluetooth 4.2)
  • Output: 2 x 10W RMS
  • WiFi 802.11b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz)
  • Dimensions: 332 x 152 x 100mm
  • Weight: 1.3KG

You can pre-order the JBL Link View smart display directly from the JBL website for $250, remember that orders are only scheduled to ship from September 3rd. Now we just need LG to join the party with its ThinQ WK9, a model name that simply rolls off the tongue.
