Samsung Galaxy Note9 may target gamers according to DJ Koh comment

According to a report by Twitter user Ice universe, the upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note9 may include some special features intended to appeal to gamers interested in the device. This latest bit of information is based on a comment made by Samsung mobile division boss DJ Koh while visiting Wuhan, China.

According to the report, Koh was at an event to solicit input from consumers. In the course of the conversation, Koh noted the upcoming Galaxy Note9 will have many new features and in particular, the S Pen that comes with the device will be upgraded with new tricks. We already have word that Bluetooth is being added to the stylus. Koh’s comments about the S Pen mention “special features related to the game.” The odds seem good that Koh was actually referring to gaming in general and a specific game.

Unfortunately, Koh did not drop any other hints about what Samsung has in store. The Galaxy Note9 is scheduled to be officially launched at an Unpacked event on August 9th.
