Latest rumor on colors for the HTC U12+

In just a couple weeks, HTC will be holding an event on May 23rd, when it is expected they will announce their latest flagship smartphone, the HTC U12+. The device is expected to contain the usual assortment of the current standard for flagship hardware, like a Snapdragon 845 processor, a dual camera setup and a Quad HD display. To help carve out some market share – however unlikely that seems – HTC may use some distinct color options to entice buyers.

According to Roland Quandt, who is a reliable source of insider tips, the HTC U12+ will be available in several different colors. These include black, “Red Rose”, Violet and a color option called “Translucent.” One color  you might notice missing from the list is white, which seems to be a popular option with manufacturers. There is also no sign of a grey or metallic looking option.

Quandt also dropped a couple other bits of news about the HTC U12+ hardware. Besides the 6-inch screen that most are aware of, Quandt says the device will come equipped with 64GB of onboard storage, at least for the European markets. Dual and single SIM versions are also in the works.
