Alcatel A30, Moto G5 Plus join Amazon’s roster of Prime Exclusive phones

Amazon announced today that the Alcatel A30 and Moto G5 Plus are joining its roster of ad-subsidized Prime Exclusive smartphones.

These two phones will be joining a handful of others in the program — the BLU R1 HD, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play.

Amazon Prime members will see discounts on the Alcatel A30 and Moto G5 Plus with this program. The former will start out at $60 ($40 off the retail price) while the latter starts at $185 for Prime members ($45 off of the retail price).

It’s worth noting that, for Prime members to take advantage of these discounts, they’ll have to purchase the ad-subsidized variant. The options with Ads & Offers would be the Prime Exclusive smartphones, whereas models without these advertisements and offers would not be considered a Prime Exclusive smartphone.

Both phones are available for pre-order starting today and will ship in mid-April.
