Android has a lot of advantages over other mobile platforms, not the least of them being customizability. And I have seen no better illustration of this than Ixonos’ custom UI they built to run on a tablet developed by Aava. Taking full advantage of Android’s ability to multitask, this custom UI actually allows windows that can be moved around freely, even between the tablet’s dual displays. It’s built off Froyo, and leaves apps running constantly — not in suspended state — to allow for a truly complete multitasking experience. They showed it off at MWC, and it looks really impressive.
