ZAGG announces the InvisibleShield Screen Guarantee plan at CES 2017

ZAGG is at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, and they’re shaking up the screen protector industry with a new product: the InvisibleShield Screen Guarantee Plan.

This kit will set you back $80, but comes with plenty of protection and even a cash bonus if the product fails to protect your device. In the kit, you get the InvisibleShield Sapphire Defense screen protector. It’s one of ZAGG’s toughest protectors, made from hybrid glass and infused with sapphire. You get the IFROGZ Clear Vue Case as well for added protection. But, if the InvisibleShield fails to protect your device from a crack or shatter, you get a “no hassle, no questions asked and no deductible” cash refund of $100 in the form of a Visa gift card.

Here’s the details behind that:

  • Upon purchase, consumers must register their device
  • To claim repair reimbursement, consumers must submit a repair receipt and photo of damaged phone with Sapphire Defense installed to claim reimbursement. Damaged device must be associated with a valid registration
  • Two-year warranty period
  • One (1) incident covered by InvisibleShield Screen Guarantee Plan
  • No deductible

This plan won’t be available to the public straight away, though. ZAGG is running a beta program first, which consumers will have to sign-up through. The page to sign-up isn’t live yet, but we’ll be sure to update this when it does.
