Again the Desire 10 is teased by HTC, this time highlights fingerprint scanner

Ready for HTC’s next phone? We’ve seen what is likely the Desire 10 teased in recent weeks for a reveal on September 20. First the company released a teaser video last month and then rolled out another earlier this month. Now it’s time for our third opportunity to think about the device that will be announced next week.

The focus for today’s teaser video is on the fingerprint scanner.

Before showing the silhouette of an unidentified device, HTC shows us a fingerprint being absorbed by a circular panel. This tells us the Desire 10 will have a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear, which could also double as a power button.

HTC will be hosting an online-only launch event at 3:00AM ET on Tuesday, September 20. The event will be streamed live on the company’s site.

We’ve been told by HTC that the device will be launched in London, so expect to see a push overseas rather than in the United States.
