The latest incarnation of Samsung’s line of Chromebooks, the Chromebook 3, is being billed as “ideal laptop for consumers, businesses and schools that need a highly portable experience without breaking their budget.”
Samsung unveiled the new version of the Chromebook at CES 2016 on Tuesday. The company launched the first ever Chromebook in 2011.
The new Chromebook weighs just over 2.5 pounds and is built for mobile use; it’s easy to carry and designed for improved grip. The Chromebook 3 also has a reinforced metal body to protect against drops. It also features an ergonomic keyboard and 180-degree hinge.
The Chromebook 3 will be available in early 2016.
