NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 owners can get a free ‘Fallout’ lunchbox

NVIDIA is giving away lunchboxes to owners of the SHIELD Tablet K1 to celebrate the release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on its flagship tablet.

According to the official NVIDIA SHIELD Twitter account, the first 50,000 people to redeem codes available on the company’s site will get a bundle of five lunchboxes, all of which are Fallout Shelter-themed.

“Themed”? You DO know that the “lunch boxes” are virtual ones, specifically for use in the Fallout Shelter game, right?

This isn’t a bundle of “Fallout Shelter THEMED lunch boxes”, but rather a free bundle of (digital) “lunchboxes”. These lunch boxes in turn contain items, characters or in-game money that players can use:

“Lunchbox Packs contain 4 Fallout Shelter cards, each with at least 1 guaranteed rare or better, and can include in-game currency, consumables and more.”

And why was my original post explaining this removed? I’ve now bookshelf this page to check for this problem again, as there was nothing wrong with my original, informative post.

If, however, the original article is edited to clean up the error, then please feel free to remove this post
