Google ready to help you track Santa this year

Google has started the December countdown to Christmas and they promise lots of goodies along the way to Christmas Eve when the Santa Tracker will be operating at full steam. Google has setup a special site at for all of the festivities. The fun is not limited to the night of Santa’s flight though as Google is planning to release games and other activities each day.

The games range from parachute practice needed for the delivery of gifts to reindeer races, there will be holiday tradition tests, some interesting cartography, and for the programmers out there, some JavaScript courses.

To help support the Santa Tracker site, Google is releasing a Google Santa Tracker app and a Santa Tracker Chrome extension. During the month as you wait, feel free to share the goodies you discover with friends and family using the Android app as it comes with Chromecast support and on Christmas Eve, use your large screen TV to create a virtual Santa tracking headquarters. For those out there who have Android Wear devices, they can get notifications on their devices as well.

You can grab the Android app and Chrome extension using the links below or point your browser to the Santa Tracker site.
