Google+ will soon let you add polls to your posts

Google is in the process of incorporating a new feature into Google+ which will allow its users to add a poll to their posts. This means they will no longer have to link to an external service such as Survey Monkey to gather results for a questionnaire — it can all be done on the social network itself.

The functionality is being distributed in stages and will start rolling out to Android devices and the Web “over the course of the next few days,’ before eventually being pushed to iOS.

Once live, users should be able to create a question with a possible five choices of response. They’ll also be able to format the layout of the survey to include their own title, logo, cover photo and description.

Take a look through the gallery below to see some poll examples which Google has created. We have to admit; they do look pretty awesome!

Will you be taking advantage of this new feature? Be sure to let us know in the comments section.
