HTC ‘One Wear’ to possibly be round and come in different materials

Like other companies jumping on the Android Wear train, HTC is rumored to have a wearable in the works that should debut sometime this summer. While the Moto 360 is slated to be a classy piece of hardware HTC may give Motorola a run for its money with its own smartwatch. According to the latest rumor, brought to us by the guy who leaked the S 5 Active video, the device — possibly to be called One Wear — will come in a premium design.

“It’s been an interesting few days here in Taiwan. Sources have provided more than rumors but a actual demo of the HTC smart watch. I did ask for a name. Tentatively it’s called the One Wear, slated to launch late August early September of this year. The design is round much like the Moto 360, will be available in a polycarbonate and metal flavors.”

So there you have it, if these rumors are to be believed, we’ll see the device at the end of this summer and like the Moto 360 the device will be round. It will also come in a polycarbonate and metal variety. Of course it should be noted that until this device is officially announced, rumors should be taken with a bit of skepticism.
