Back in the old days, when the original HTC EVO 4G released for Sprint, Best Buy released a surprise in the form of a white variant of the venerable titan. The color did well, especially when it was released at other Sprint dealers, and it offered an alternative to the arguably masculine dark grey and black. Now it seems as though RadioShack is looking to emulate big blue, as they’ve announced a white version of the new HTC EVO 3D. Set to be released next month (September for those not keeping track), RadioShack’s white EVO 3D goes a step beyond the white EVO 4G in that the entire body is white, as opposed to merely the rear housing and battery door. The black bezel around the screen is still black, however. There’s no word as to how long it will remain exclusive to the Shack and no mention of price (expect the same $200, I would imagine), but these details tend to get ironed out as launch day approaches. So who’s looking to get one of these? Let us know in the comments and feel free to jump in after the break to see a larger image.
We have known about the White DROID Incredible 2 for a while now, and the recently leaked Best Buy buyers guide gave us further confirmation. Now all we need is the official announcement, and that has now been completed since Best Buy just gave us a press reelase. The only thing left is to head over to Best Buy starting this Sunday, August 21st, and hand over $149 for this gorgeous phone. The specs are the same as the black DROID Incredible 2, but lets face it, white is the new black.

So we know that the U.K. will be getting a white version of the Galaxy S II starting September 1st and that three.co.uk has already confirmed their participation in this much sought after white device. Well, O2 also seems to be in on the white SGSII hype machine. There are no specifics on pricing or when exactly it will be available, but our guess is the phone will be free with a two year contract.
Talk of a the white Samsung Galaxy S II has been all the craze this week in the mobile tech arena. Now, we have full fledged confirmation of its arrival. The visual went up on Three.co.uk and is sporting full frontal, side and backside pics of the device. I’ve never really been a fan of white devices but they’re beginning to grow on me. The white SGSII definitely brings a sharp elegance to the table for those wanting to steer clear of the average black slate. All the standard innards are still there for the S II, just now available in white. Hit the break for the source link which will take you to Three’s “Coming Soon” page to check it out for yourself and don’t forget to check out the eye candy below as well. XDA user, Zoidpilot, dropped his EVO 3D which caused some damage. He decided to fix it up, and in the process he painted it white. It looks as good as if it came directly from HTC. So who is brave enough to try this?

Well, it looks like the Nexus S isn’t the only Samsung hardware making an exchange for white housing. Rogers has stated today via their Twitter account that they will exclusively be adding white Galaxy Tabs to their arsenal. So, if you’re tired of the same old black slate devices and you’re in the vicinity of….Canada, then there has never been a better opportunity for you to run out and snag one now. What’s your take? Do you prefer white over black? Does it really matter? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
Back on the 25th we noted that a white Nexus S device has surfaced and made its way to Germany, as reported by BestBoyz. Today we bring you more news of the device rearing its pretty little off white shell, thanks to TNW Mobile. I’ve gotta say, I like the black front accompanied by the white backing, it sure makes for wonderful eye candy, even though for some reason, white devices rarely make it to market. According to the article by TNW, a credible source revealed that the device was headed to Vodafone. No release date has been revealed yet, but with any luck, we could see the smartphone in the hands of consumers very soon. Give us your thoughts in the comments below. Does a white Nexus S appeal to you?
German blog site BestBoyz looks to have a few snapshots of the Samsung Nexus S in a pristine white shell. Ok, it might not be full on white, but I’m sure you’d still fool those Apple fan boys when you hold up that curved glass screen as you chit chat with your bff Stacey. The source also states that these will be shipping with Super AMOLED screens, and not the Super Clear LCD displays rumored before.
While it might not be the completely albino Android you were looking for, it’s still nice to have options. With all these removable battery covers I’m surprised we don’t see more colors from 3rd-party manufacturers.
thanks to our tipster!
Well, well, what do we have here? A white version of the EVO 4G is now available in retail locations nationwide, and I must say, it looks pretty slick. The phone is priced at $199.99 with a new 2-year contract, and is exactly the same as the black version in terms of hardware and features.
