A quick look at HTC’s latest ad for their Butterfly reveals multiple color options for the device. The 2 minute video shows red, white and black colors for the phone in all its elegance. Sadly, the device is still available only in Asia, but we get the DROID DNA in the United States minus the microSD slot.
If HTC wants to gain more ground, they should really push for devices such as these to be available world wide, don’t you think? Either way, check out the video after the break!
In what appears to be a regular HTC One S in one photo is in fact a white 64GB One S beast rocking Android 4.1 out of the box that we mentioned last month. It looks like Taiwan is the lucky country to land this beast, at least initially. Along with 4.1 out of the box, this device also rocks the latest version of HTC Sense (4+). Not to mention that mammoth storage weighing in at a hefty 64GB. All other vitals are the same as the One S we know and love as far as RAM, processor, and display. No word on any other countries landing this bad-boy. Pricing will come in at 17,900 Taiwan dollars, or about $616 or €485.

According to a tip sent in to the folks at Techno Buffalo, Sprint is gearing up to release a white version of the HTC EVO 4G LTE. As you can see in the screenshot above, the Sprint warehouse is expecting inventory of an HTC X325C, said to be the alabaster version of the EVO 4G LTE. No word on when this bad-boy will be in stock, but this should give you a glimmer of hope if you just couldn’t deal with the glossy black version of the device as it originally launched. We will be keeping our eye on this one so stay tuned for further deets.

With word of the Optimus 4X HD coming to the market in February, LG has introduced the monster handset now available in white. The guys over at ePrice gave the handset a one-over and it looks fairly impressive. Not to mention, white seems to be all the craze these days. Like the black version, the 4X HD also sports Android 4.0 ICS, houses a 4.7-inch IPS HD display and sports Nvidia’s quad-core 1.5 GHz Tegra 3 CPU. There’s also an 8 mp camera, 1.3 mp front shooter, 1GB of RAM and 16 GB’s of internal storage. There’s also the ability to add an sd card up to 32 GB’s all wrapped up in a slim 8.7mm form factor. Check out ePrice’s video demo of the device in action as well as the pics and don’t forget to let us know what you think in the comments below.
If you have been waiting on this one, I’m sure it has felt entirely too long. The UK white RAZR was initially thought to be released on February 22nd. Then the date became March 1st. Then, silence. Those days came and went and the white RAZR seemingly faded out of existence for the past month. All of a sudden, however, the illustrious white RAZR has come back on the radar with a new date in tow, March 29th. Get it then, SIM free and unlocked from Clove, which by the way is accepting orders now at £382.80, VAT included. Clove will also be throwing in a pair of free folding speakers (a £20 value).
In case you were wondering if we were ever really going to see the rumored white Galaxy Nexus, a white replacement battery door popped up on eBay recently taking away most doubt. The replacement parts manufacturer has 91% positive feedback from buyers so it’s hard to believe this thing is a fake. Although the seller’s page says the door is “original,” I will still remain skeptical of its maker until the device actually hits Verizon. Speaking of Verizon, the latest rumor suggests that the white VZW model is to be of the 16GB flavor, and could possibly arrive alongside the silver/grey version on April 6th. Hit up the source link below if you want to get a white spare battery door ahead of the game.
You know that white international version of the Galaxy Nexus we have been seeing lately? Yeah that one, the white one. Well, apparently for you U.S. folks who are just dying to get your hands on an alabaster GNex, you just might be able to get one that works on Verizon’s blazing fast LTE network soon enough. You heard right, according to Droid Life they received word from some “friends” in the industry who say the 16GB version of the white Galaxy Nexus is slated to make a Big Red appearance in the near future.
Supposedly, Verizon’s white phone is going to be of the 16GB flavor only, no 32GB version for us here in the U.S.. It is thought that the price will be around $199 to be on par with the 16GB version of the DROID RAZR, which makes sense. If it’s the price point you are excited about and not the color, you might be happy to hear that a 16GB silver/grey Galaxy Nexus will be joining up with Verizon alongside the white one. We will keep you posted as soon as we hear more.
We’ve already heard plans for a white HTC Sensation to launch in parts of Europe next mont, but now it appears that the larger version, the white Sensation XE, will be heading to the UK as well. UK retailer Clove will begin selling the SIM-free, alabaster XE from February 20, for £408 ($640) .
In case you had forgotten, the HTC Sensation XE comes equipped with a faster 1.5GHz dual-core processor (compared to the Sensations 1.2), a larger 1730mAh battery, a 4.3 qHD display, and an 8MP camera capable of recording 1080p video. Beats Audio has been integrated into the device and it comes with a pair of in-ear Beats Audio headphones. HTC has also mentioned that the XE will be getting the Android 4.0 update sometime in the coming months as well. Currently the device is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
If you are in the UK and are looking to purchase a new dual-core Android phone, I must say this device isn’t a bad choice. One thing to keep in mind though, if you’re the type of person who always wants the latest and greatest I suggest waiting to see what HTC has up their sleeves for Mobile World Congress at the end of this month. Stay tuned as we will be giving a full report as the event unfolds.
Notice something a bit different in the image above? You should. Those are the all new, all white versions of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 7.0 Plus, as spotted in Vietnam. A tipster sent these images in to GSMArena and that’s about all we have at this moment, no mention of pricing and availability.
Yes, you can currently get white versions of these tabs, but if you will recall, the bezel is still black (image below). In my opinion, a black bezel provides for a better multimedia experience and allows the display’s border to blend into the screen — providing more of an unobtrusive viewing experience. Either way, once these tablets hit the market I imagine they will still sell like hotcakes. I mean look how widely successful the all white iPad has been.
As far as specs go, these white G Tabs will remain unchanged, according to GSMArena. I also presume the price tags will remain the same as well. To see a full gallery of pictures, jump past the break.
So what do you think? Is an all white tablet in your future, or do you prefer a black bezel? Let us know in the comments below.
