Tango Video Calls updates, fixes EVO and Samsung device bugs

If you love video calling with all your little turtle friends (seriously, I’ve NEVER understood the image shown above), then chances are you may have tried out Tango. The video calling app is cross platform, and just recently put out an update, wherein changes include:

  • Support for front facing cameras on Samsung devices
  • Fixed an issue that was causing some HTC EVOs to reboot when launching Tango

Another cool thing about Tango: it works over any data connection 3G or greater, so all you 4G and wi-fi fiends out there have a few more options for your video chat goodness. Be sure to hit up Tango on TalkAndroid apps, and let us know what you think in the comments.

Samsung Continuum gets an official video promo

Man, you let a phone ring out the closing bell at NASDAQ, and suddenly he’s all over the internet with a new promo video. To be serious, the new video for Samsung’s latest device, the Continuum, does a great job of showing you how you could use the cool little ticker display at the bottom in everyday situations. While some (okay, a lot) of people would probably just prefer on flush screen, there are those that think the bottom display is really cool. Besides, isn’t choice one of the things Android phones are all about? While the screen size is brought down a little bit from its maximum potential at a 3.4″ Super AMOLED, we’re okay with that. Hit the break to check out the promo for yourself, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments.
