Earlier today Sony announced several new devices during their IFA press conference, including the new Xperia Tablet S. The powerful new tablet is powered by a Tegra 3 CPU, preloaded with Android 4.0, and has plethora of available accessories. It will be available September 7th but Sony is accepting pre-orders starting today. We now have a quick hands on video of the Xperia Tablet S from the floor of the IFA event.
Sony has officially announced the Xperia Tablet S, with specs matching what we told you earlier. The sleek new tab is powered by a Tegra 3 CPU, comes with Android 4.0 and has built-in storage options up to 64GB. It has the distinctive look similar to the Tablet S, featuring the “folded-over” magazine shape, but is now made of metal and is a bit lighter. It has a 9.4″ IPS screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800, 6,000 mAh battery that will reportedly last up to 10 hours, and has an IR emitter which doubles the tablet as a universal remote (similar to the Tablet S).
