Yesterday we got word on the updated Optimus L series and LG didn’t waste anytime making them official with a presser. The Optimus L7 II, L5 II, and L3 II will probably not be part of the announcement on 25th, but they will certainly be on display during the MWC Conference. This upgrade seems to be a way for LG to try and recapture some of the success the “L-Style” line has had in the past with around 10 million units sold since last year’s launch. In terms of specifications these devices are mid-range at best and the dual-SIM technology suggests they aim to sell this on the central/eastern European market.
We already know LG will be unveiling a few phones at MWC, and it looks like three of those bad boys will be the L7 II, L5 II, and L3 II. It was about this time last year when the first versions of the L Series were unveiled, and they might not have been the most popular phones in the land, but 10 million units sold isn’t too shabby. Fast forward a year and the second versions are ready to take on the world. Hit the break to get the scoop.
