‘Tis the season for giving. Arcane Legends’ developer is feeling a bit generous and wants to give owners of the recently released MMORPG an update just in time for all of that holiday downtime. We aren’t talking about just slapping some Santa hats on the characters either. To begin with, players will now see a level-cap of 21. Players will also be greeted with five new dungeons to explore, a new loot chest to unlock above level 16, and new achievements along with a weapons-type shakeup for each class. There are also numerous holiday-themed goodies but we’ll leave that for you to explore and find. You may want to jump on it though as the holiday-themed goodies end – you guessed it – when the holidays wind down.
Spacetime Studios’ highly anticipated mobile MMORPG, Arcane Legends, has finally been revealed in the form of a short cinematic trailer. The title features the same gameplay that players have grown accustomed to in the studio’s previous games. Although, rather than attempt to harness the latest graphics, Arcane Legends offers a retro vibe, opting for cartoon-esque graphics, similar to those seen in Pocket Legends.
Players will be able to choose from three classes including Warrior, Rogue or Sorcerer. Additionally, the combat system has been retrofitted, offering a more robust experience in terms of battling enemies. For example, ranged enemies will attempt to space themselves from your character if you are attacking with melee. Jump past the break to see the game in action.
NVIDIA’s Tegra platform is no doubt a great one for showcasing Android gaming. We know there are plenty of Tegra-exclusive games out there, but there’s one game that’s standing out head and shoulders above the rest of the Tegra-based games. You may have heard about a certain Action-RPG called Soulcraft THD, which is pretty much a dark fantasy game on steroids. The beta has currently been in beta for a few months now and while the developer Mobilebits claims there are still some bugs to be worked out, the game runs incredibly fluid while the graphics are smooth like butter. The next great MMORPG game is almost here folks! Spacetime Studios recently teased us with an intro trailer for Dark Legends, but now the developer wants us to drool even more by showcasing some of the awesome action found in the game. In addition to the fluid and smooth look of the gameplay, you’ll be able to see details such as blood, fallen limbs and just plain gore goodness. But don’t take our word for it— check out the gameplay trailer in the video below.
We met with Spacetime Studios last month at E3, and we have been excited ever since for the release of their MMO Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles. We are happy to say that it has entered beta as an exclusive with Verizon V CAST Apps. The beta period will run for 2 weeks from July 6 through July 20 and is available on many Verizon Wireless Android devices.
Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles is set in a distant galaxy during the 41st century. It pits space-faring, privateer humans against their own treachery and the alien menace known as the Vular. You have a choice of three classes of space-age heroes” Commando, Engineer, and Operative. You will battle with harsh, alien environments, monstrous, unthinking aliens, and the greed and ambition of their rivals.

A new OpenGL game is headed to Android called Dungeon Defenders, and I have to say, it looks pretty awesome. The game, developed by Trendy Entertainment, uses Unreal Engine 3 and is classified in the 3D MMORPG/Tower Defense/Action genre.
The object is to defend certain strategic points by slashing down enemies, but there is also a cartoon-like element as well. Graphically the game looks simply phenomenal, and the game play looks very intense and immersive. It will be available for $2.99 for most OpenGL ES2.0 capable Android devices, and will be dropping in about three weeks.
Continue after the break to watch a video of the game in action (trust me, you want to do this), and hit up the source link for some additional photos.
