You know you’ve always wanted a Hello Kitty Edition Samsung Galaxy Tab. No? Well, Samsung is prepping just that, a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Hello Kitty Edition. It’s the exact same hardware as the Galaxy Tab we’ve grown to love, but with a Hello Kitty logo on the back and on the home button. Also, the device comes preloaded with Hello Kitty wallpapers, content, and launcher theme.
As a refresher, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600) display, 3-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB on built-in storage, a microSD slot, 4,000mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Hello Kitty variant is expected to launch in Japan about three weeks from now for €229, or around $310.
As HTC continues to fill in random niches in the smart phone world we’re going to see random and albeit, odd divergences. Today we see a limited edition to HTC’s plastic flagship refresh the Butterfly S. The plastic phone sports a 5-inch screen, 16GB internal storage with a micro SD slot, and a 3200 mAh battery. Besides the updated specs and the micro SD slot, the phone still comes with Beats Audio, BoomSound and the Ultra Pixel Camera its older cousin has. However, that’s not the selling point HTC is going for here.
As you can see from the picture above, the HTC Butterfly S comes in a pretty, Hello Kitty edition. That’s right, Hello Kitty is plastered all over the phone. It still sports the Beats Logo in top of red trim for the camera, capacitive buttons, and front facing speakers. Besides that you’ll be rocking a Hello Kitty wallpaper too. Of course, if you’re wanting to rock a Hello Kitty phone you’ll have to be one of the lucky people to hail from Taiwan. If not, well you can hit the source link to scope it out.
Ever wish you had a phone that truly portrayed your passion for Hello Kitty? Well Samsung has answered your prayers with the Hello Kitty edition of the Samsung Galaxy Y. The Hello Kitty edition will only be available in Germany and will cost approximately 229 euros.
This phone is full on kitty not only with the logo on the back, but it’s loaded with Hello Kitty ringtones, wallpapers and even a special home button. Other than the obvious customization this is the same Galaxy Y as before. Are any of you interested in this phone? What type of custom phone do you wish Samsung would make?
Softbank, the mobile carrier in Japan surprised us yesterday with the announcement of a Yahoo phone running Google’s Android OS; yeah, strange. Things just get weirder. Today the Japanese carrier brings us the Hello Kitty branded Aquos. For this special Hello Kitty edition, owners will have the privilege to enjoy Kitty themed menus, screens, icons, mail, calculator, alarm clock, and more. Although the phone is heavily branded with Hello Kitty, there is a Snoopy theme as well. While it may be cute and glamorous, don’t be fooled. The Aquos is a beast.
