If you thought Facebook and Twitter were all the craze lately, well, then, you’re right. However, there is a rapidly growing mobile social network site that is putting a slight twist on things, and that is, they are gearing it towards Android users and developers. I recently had the pleasure of signing up for Everbadge, by GamerShots.com and instantly had easy access to innumerable amounts of badges, wallpapers, tons of games and apps along with some pretty laid back Android folk. The site touts a free and easy environment for developers to showcase their newly developed apps. You can also meet new people and decide to follow or chat with them, exchange ideas, or just flat out argue over which Android device is better. Read more
What do you get when you put voicemail, phone calls, and text messages into an Android App blender? You get HeyTell for Android, which will turn your smartphone into a Walkie Talkie! With this app, you can send voice messages to other HeyTell users just like you would send a text. It’ll go to their phone and sit just like a voicemail until they decide to listen to it later. Pretty cool app for people who don’t want to be bothered actually having to call someone and get stuck on a longer call than expected. Or even for those who don’t like to text because their thumbs are too big!
The app is Free for regular use, and has some added features available for purchase through the app such as voice effects, broadcast a message to multiple recipients, etc. Setting up your list of friends can be tricky, but once you got them added (usually by email invites), it’s gold.

There’s a number of internet streaming services available, most of which you need to pay for content, so it’s refreshing to see someone take matters into their own hands. Developer KarlssoN1337 has put out an App called Droid Streamer, which will stream TV Shows and Movies on your Android powered device. The content comes from various sources online including Youtube, but you’ll need to bear in mind that this app is still in beta mode, and as such, you may not find exactly what you’re looking for for content or TV Show episodes.
That in mind, feel free to grab this app for Free by scanning the QR below, or searching the market for “Droid Streamer”. Also, feedback is always good for a developer, so if you grab this app, make sure you provide feedback in the comments below, or on this thread.

SPB TV for Android has been updated to 2.0, and its price has been reduced from $9.95 to a big fat 0. The app gives you access to 150 channels of content, but no popular network shows will be found here. It does have a lot of foreign content, though, so if that’s your thing then SPB TV may be right up your alley. Hit up our app database link below to download this app for free!

Gameloft is running a promotion this month with a different free giveaway every day between now (well, technically the 1st) and Christmas. Yep, a Twitter advent calendar. If you’re not already following them on Twitter, you should start now.
So, the best news? Today and today only they are giving away a free copy of Dungeon Hunter HD for Android. This Diablo-esque game normally costs about five bucks, but today you can head over to Twitter (from your phone) for a link to download the game for free.
Be warned, though, that upon downloading and installing the .apk file, the game asks to download an additional 181MB to be stored on the SD card, so if you don’t have an unlimited data plan, it might be best to do that part on wifi.
Watch the trailer after the break, and hit the source link to download the game for yourself.
