Oppo doesn’t plan on stopping with their N1 smartphone. The company has confirmed that the rumored Find 7 handset does exist via Twitter. The image above is a teaser that Oppo posted and confirms that their next device will be the Find 7. According to the previous leak, the Find 7 will have a 2560×1440 resolution on a 5.7-inch display. Interestingly, it will also have Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM. A 13MP camera will be on the back with a 5MP one facing the user. And 4G LTE connectivity will finally be available in China with the Find 7. For now, the Find 7 could be announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in January; however, nothing is confirmed at this time.
If the Find 7’s specs were a little too much for you, then the Find 5 mini may be the device for you. It is the rumored smaller sibling to their Find 5 smartphone that launched last December. Unlike other devices with the “mini” name, the specs will indeed be lowered. The Find 5 mini is said to have a 4.7-inch display with a 960×540 resolution. A quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM is packed inside. The camera will be set at 5MP. Stay tuned for updates on these two.
Oppo Mobile appears to be working on a successor to the Oppo Find 5 smartphone that will come with a 4000mAh battery to help power it through the day. The new device has been dubbed the Oppo Find 7 by the rumor mill and will feature a Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. We think the device will come with a 5-inch display running at a full 1080p HD resolution. Other details are still not available, but Oppo Mobile is gaining a reputation for producing some high-quality devices.
While Oppo Mobile is working on this new device for a release thought to be sometime this fall, they are also working on a smaller, more colorful version of the Oppo Find 5 named the Oppo Find 5 Mini.

If you’ve been looking to snag yourself a smartphone that’s bigger than normal, but find devices like the DROID DNA or Galaxy Note II don’t quite strike your fancy, then OPPO may just have the device for you. The Chinese giant has launched its latest device called the Find 5– a superphone with you guessed it a 5-inch IPS display with 441ppi that’s the most noteworthy feature of the device. In addition, the Find 5 has additional bells and whistles like a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 chip, 2 gigs of RAM and Jelly Bean. While it’s nearly identical to the DROID DNA specifically– there are some other things about the Find 5 that distinguish it from the competition: the 13MP camera and sound output. The 13MP camera supports full HDR photography unlike other smartphones, while the Find 5 offers full support for both Dolby 3D and Dirac HD sound– giving users a cinema-quality sound wherever they go. Very impressive indeed.
The phone may be attractive, but many of you are thinking that the device must come at a princely sum, right? Well the device is expected to have a premium price, but it’s likely going to be far less expensive than the competition at or around $500 for the US and Chinese markets. Oh and OPPO plans a major launch of the Find 5 sometime in early 2013 across select markets— so it just means you won’t need to wait too long for the next great thing. You can find additional details in the presser after the break.
China-based Oppo seems to be ahead of the curve lately. They launched the world’s thinnest smartphone called the Oppo Finder, and now they are looking to launch the first smartphone with a 1080p display called the Find 5. It also looks like this one may classify as the world’s thinnest quad-core smartphone.
It’s still in the prototype stage and it will boast a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display at 441ppi. That blows away everything available now, and probably even the soon to be announced iPhone 5. Other major notables are that it will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 12MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 2500mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Since it’s in the prototype stage we have no idea on pricing or when this puppy will be released.
