It may be the start of the holiday season, but there are always great deals available for prospective smartphone shoppers looking to grab a sweet phone that won’t break the bank. In fact, there used to be the notion that in order to grab a phone under $100 on-contract, you’d have to settle for an outdated or budget-level device. Of course figuring out which device may be a bit difficult, but don’t fret— Talk Android has you covered as we’ve come up with a solid guide with our recommendations of the best devices for under $100 on-contract for your respective wireless carrier. Today, US Cellular has announced two new quality Motorola handsets. Fist we have the Motorola Electrify 2, the higher-end out of the two that offers a 4.3-inch display and a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device will also have an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a front facing camera. The phone also offers the same Smart Actions feature that’s prevalent in the Verizon Droid RAZR line. The Electrify 2 will set you back $179 on contract after a $100 rebate.
Next we have the Motorola Defy XT, which would be considered a mid-range device that sports a 3.7-inch screen with a 5-megapixel camera. Much like it’s predecessor, you can expect this device to be quite durable. The Defy XT will run you $99 on contract after a $100 rebate.
