Sprint has officially announced some deals for the holiday season, and while they aren’t the most aggressive sales ever, it’s a good start. First on the list is the phone selection, which includes the LG G2 for $50 online and the Galaxy S 4 Mini for free, after a 50 mail-in rebate. Those deals start on Black Friday and both obviously require a two year plan.
Between the 22nd and the 27th, Sprint is offering a special to new customers. If you port your number over from any other carrier, Sprint will knock $100 off any available phone with a two-year agreement. If you port a number over and take advantage of Sprint’s One Up plan (the $0 down phone installment plan), Sprint will give you a $100 prepaid Visa card. Either way, that’s basically free money if you were considering making the switch to Sprint anyway.

If you’re in the market for a new AT&T smartphone, you might want to jump on this deal. AT&T is offering a 50% discount on smartphones that are normally priced between $0.99 and $199.99, with a two year agreement, of course. This includes a ton of high-end phones, like the Galaxy S 4, HTC One, Moto X, LG G2, and even things like the Galaxy S 4 Zoom. The only exclusions are phones that are normally higher than $199.99 (or Apple products, but surely you wouldn’t be thinking of buying one of those, right?) so the Galaxy Note 3 or the 32 GB Galaxy S 4 and 64 GB HTC One are automatically ineligible for this deal. Bummer, I know.
Still, there’s a ton of other great options that you can pick up for great prices right now. Hit the link below and check it out.
Looks like Verizon is trying to move the Moto X. We already reported that you can get a fully customized version for only $49 through Moto Maker, but if you aren’t into customizing, you can grab a white or black one for Free from Verizon’s website. All you need to do is enter coupon code vzwdeal at checkout and it’s yours for Free.
Personally, I would spend the extra $50 and customize it to your heart’s content, but Free is always nice.
Looking to get a Moto X on Verizon? Now is your chance to grab one for $49, and you can customize it just the way you want using Moto Maker. This deal is only through Moto Maker and expires at 11:59pm on November 18. Let us know if you grab one, and be sure to check out our Moto X guides if you do.

This one might not be a smoking hot deal, but it is a decent deal for anyone looking for an inexpensive tablet. Woot! has the 16GB 2012 Nexus 7 for $129 and the 32GB version for $149. I should point out these are factory reconditioned, and it’s not clear if you will still get the normal manufacturer’s warranty. My past experience with factory reconditioned products is that it does, but Woot! mentions nothing about it. They do offer a Square Trade 1 year protection plan for $22.99, which is leading me to believe that it doesn’t.
There are a lot of inexpensive tablets out there, but this one already has Android 4.4 KitKat, so it’s still a pretty good deal. The deal expires at midnight tonight or when they sell out. Hit the source link to get your order in.
According to Twitter’s @evleaks, Verizon plans on kicking off the holiday season with some modest deals. For Cyber Monday, online shopping’s Black Friday, Verizon will take $150 off of Samsung tablets. It’s unclear whether this apply to the on-contract or off-contract prices. Also from Samsung will be the Galaxy Note II for $50 on-contract. More intriguingly is that the Motorola RAZR HD and Samsung Galaxy S III (from last year) will be just $1 dollar. Perhaps Verizon is trying to clean out stock on those devices? If you are a deal-stealer, this batch is certainly worth a look. But with the Moto X dropping to $99 and set to get Moto Maker treatment, we’re not sure why you would look at something else. This year, Cyber Monday is on December 2, so make note of that on your calendar.
Groupon is no stranger to having some pretty sweet deals every now and then, but who would’ve guessed it would offer what some of us thought was hands-down the best phone for 2012? That’s right gang— Groupon is offering an unlocked variant of the HTC One X smartphone last year for a reasonable $349.99. Unlike the traditional unlocked version that features a Tegra 3 chip plus HSPA+ radio, it appears that this unlocked model (HTC-PJ83100) will “only” sport a dual-core Snapdragon clocked at 1.5GHz and Ice Cream Sandwich (ugh!). Fortunately, this model will have the same 4.7-inch 720p display, the sweet 8MP camera and oh yes— a built-in 4G LTE radio… though it’s probably likely it will only be made for AT&T bands should you choose to take advantage of the capability. Otherwise, the HSPA+ bands should be compatible for both AT&T and T-Mobile.
Naturally there are other $349.99 options out there like the Nexus 4, but keep this in mind: the Nexus 4 doesn’t feature LTE and an unlocked One X model is more than developer-friendly, meaning that there’s plenty of potential for you tinkerers out there. Nonetheless, interested parties will want to act soon— as of now, there’s only 8 days left for the awesome deal.

Fancy the newly-released HTC First smartphone with that unique Facebook Home launcher, but didn’t want to pay the $100 asking price from AT&T? Well you’re in luck as AT&T has announced a special promotion where it is offering the landmark device for a whopping 99¢ for those of you who choose to sign your lives’ away to Ma Bell for the next two years. Yes you read that right— the device is not even going to cost customers a buck for new or existing customers who sign up for the device on-contract! Even more astounding is AT&T also chose to reduce the outright price of the device from $450 to a not-too-shabby $350. So all of a sudden, the 1.5GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, sexy 720p display and a nearly-stock build of Android 4.1.2 under Facebook Home looks even more attractive than ever before.
If you’re looking for a device for $350, then the First smartphone may very well be a solid alternative to say, the Nexus 4 smartphone for many customers– especially if they are interested in a unique Facebook experience. Hit the source link to grab more details.
It’s hard to believe that it was a year ago that the Android Market became the Google Play Store. It seemed like most people weren’t fond of the new name, but none of the matters now as Google has begun it’s celebration with deals for one week. Hit the break for the featured U.S. deals:
