You remember how we showed you all a sneak peek of what Cruzerlite has in store for Nexus 4 smartphones? Well the famed smartphone case maker has followed up on its tease by unveiling a few set of Nexus 4 cases. The first set of cases are from its Bugdroid Circuit line which features a TPU material along with items like a laser-etched Bugdroid mascot on the back. The second set of cases are from its Clone Army line which also features some nice material surrounding the cases and a nice pattern of Androids taking up the back of the cases’ real estate.
Cruzerlite is certainly excited about both cases and has listed each for a reasonable $13 a pop— which is certainly welcome (and exciting) news. We know you Nexus 4 owners want more details, so go ahead and hit the source links below for more information. Go on… you know you want to.

If you’re not happy with the protection that the official bumper case provides for your all-glass Nexus 4, you may be excited to hear that popular case maker, CruzerLite, is gearing up to release their very own Nexus 4 case. The company leaked this teaser shot of what we can expect, and as you can see it’s definitely a design geared toward the Nexus crowd, with microchip details engraved on the back. It looks as though the case has cut outs for all the buttons as well, meaning you wont have to press your buttons through the rubber, which is always a burdensome process. Everything is looking good so far! We’ll have to wait for more details from CruzerLite for now, but hopefully they’ll be releasing the case soon. Clumsy people everywhere, rejoice!
One place where Android devices have always lagged behind iPhones has been in case and accessory selection. But as promised, by Dan Savage and countless other celebrity It Gets Better videos, it has gotten better. The success of phones like the Galaxy SIII has made some accessory manufacturers develop Android specific lines. Today, Cruzerlite announced a limited edition CyanogenMod case for three of Samsung’s biggest Android Phones. The TPU cases are black and features, Cid, the CyanogenMod mascot who has definitely grown on me since they made the change back in April. Cruzerlite is taking pre-orders from now until early December and offering 20% off.
Finding just the right case for my Nexus 7 has been a challenge. I’ve tried the effective and highly flexible, yet very bulky rooCASE, as well as the updated Ultra Slim rooCASE. Both of these serve their purposes well, with the Ultra Slim edging out the original due to its much slimmer profile.
But there is another class of case that I needed to check out. Currently, my phone is an HTC Evo 4G LTE and I’ve been using a Cruzerlite TPU case on that for a while and I love it. TPU stands for Thermoplastic Polyurethane, which is a class of plastic that has many great properties for an electronics case, including elasticity, transparency, oil resistance, and durability. My Evo has never felt so protected.
So when I saw that Cruzerlite was making a TPU case for the Nexus 7, I jumped on it. After spending a couple of weeks using the case, I decided to write up a review with my thoughts. Hit the break for all the details.
