Hello there, QuickCircle case. Before announcing the G3 on Tuesday, LG has lifted the curtain on arguably its most important accessory. The QuickCircle case, known as QuickWindow with the G2, has a circular cutout that previews and allows interaction with content. Features listed include checking the time, carrying out phone calls, texting, snapping photos, choosing music to listen to, and displaying health information. All of this without ever opening the QuickCircle case’s front.
LG touts the ‘grip-ability’ that this case offers along with its Smart Lighting capability. Smart Lighting seems to be an answer for call and text notifications from within the circle. The QuickCircle case will be available in Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Aqua Mint, Indian Pink. Another great addition? Compatibility with the Qi wireless charging standard. When the LG G3 launches next month, the company will have an SDK open to developers to tailor to the QuickCircle case.

If you are on the verge of picking up something from the Google Play Store, do it fast. Standard shipping can score you certain items you would like by Christmas. But, you have deadline. Monday, December 16, at noon. Items listed are the Nexus 7 (white too), Nexus 10, Chromecast, and some cases and a wireless charger. It is likely limited to just these items; therefore, if you’re picking up a Nexus 5, you likely won’t be able to take advantage of this. The Nexus 5 hasn’t been announced yet, but that isn’t stopping one UK retailer from offering cases for the phone. MobileFun is offering two Cruzerlite Androidified cases for pre-order (clear and black) as well as two cases from Rearth Ringke (slim and fusion).
After adding any of the cases to your cart, the shipping date is revealed as October 23, which could be the actual date or most likely a placeholder. The Nexus 5 could be announced by then, but I am putting my money on the last week in October.

I remember loving my original DROID”s slide-out keyboard and thinking that I would never buy a phone without one. Well things changed, and more importantly screen sizes have gotten big enough that touch typing isn’t an issue anymore. Still, there are some that love having a QWERTY keyboard, but also want the latest and greatest high end phone. Now you can have both with this new case for your Galaxy S 4.
This case features a full slide-out Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard. It’s backlit so you can still type in the dark, and has dedicated buttons for Home, Search, and Play/Pause. The keyboard can even act as a kickstand when you want to watch movies. The 280mAh battery will give you 8 hours of typing or 45 days of standby time. The good news is that it can be charged with the same micro USB cable as your phone. It’s priced at $79.99 and is available now.

We’re just one day away from being shown the most anticipated device of the year, but that’s definitely not going to slow the rumors down. Today, we’re getting an early look at some cases that may fit the S IV’s design shape. These cases look like they’d fit the latest leak we saw just yesterday, so this very well could be the final shape of Samsung’s newest superphone. The biggest difference from the S III is the LED flash placement and speaker placement; the LED flash has moved below the camera, and the speaker has moved to the bottom of the phone, similar to the Note II. Aside from that, USB and headphone jack placement are identical. (That’s great news if you’ve invested in a dock of any kind. The S IV should be compatible with at least some of them.)
With the popularity that is almost guaranteed to follow this phone, we should expect to see some great accessory support. These cases come in nearly every color you could want, and should hopefully be available around the phone’s actual release date. Are you excited yet?

You remember how we showed you all a sneak peek of what Cruzerlite has in store for Nexus 4 smartphones? Well the famed smartphone case maker has followed up on its tease by unveiling a few set of Nexus 4 cases. The first set of cases are from its Bugdroid Circuit line which features a TPU material along with items like a laser-etched Bugdroid mascot on the back. The second set of cases are from its Clone Army line which also features some nice material surrounding the cases and a nice pattern of Androids taking up the back of the cases’ real estate.
Cruzerlite is certainly excited about both cases and has listed each for a reasonable $13 a pop— which is certainly welcome (and exciting) news. We know you Nexus 4 owners want more details, so go ahead and hit the source links below for more information. Go on… you know you want to.

One place where Android devices have always lagged behind iPhones has been in case and accessory selection. But as promised, by Dan Savage and countless other celebrity It Gets Better videos, it has gotten better. The success of phones like the Galaxy SIII has made some accessory manufacturers develop Android specific lines. Today, Cruzerlite announced a limited edition CyanogenMod case for three of Samsung’s biggest Android Phones. The TPU cases are black and features, Cid, the CyanogenMod mascot who has definitely grown on me since they made the change back in April. Cruzerlite is taking pre-orders from now until early December and offering 20% off.
We’ve been keeping an eye out for the official Nexus 7 cover to become available in the Google Play store and today they finally landed. Only available in dark grey, a new case for your N7 is going to set you back just over $30 depending on your local tax. This includes $19.99 for the unit, $9.99 for 2-day shipping, and a few bucks for uncle Sam. It seems a little pricey after all is said and done but it could very well be worth it to have some custom fitting protection. We will get ours in a few days so stay tuned for some feedback. Heck, if a few of you are interested, I could even throw a quick video together showing you how it looks/works on the tablet. In the meantime, if you already know you want one, hit up the source link below.

I have to be honest folks. I never use cases on my any of my phones or tablets. It’s not that I never drop them, I just hate the bulk so I take my chances. I do have to say that after seeing this demo with Tech21, this is the case for me. It simply is the toughest case around. I actually met with them last night at CTIA, but it was so loud that I decided to set up a private meeting this morning so I could get a proper demo. These cases are the only ones in the world that have impact fabric in them. What is that impact fabric? It’s an orange goop-like substance that’s called D3O. It’s a little bit like Play Doh, but a lot tougher. Trust me. You will see CEO Jason Roberts try to injure his finger with a mallet. Will D30 protect him?
Check out the hands on after the break.
