Activision’s Call Of Duty Elite Android app has been updated to support the latest version of the first person shooter, Black Ops II. The app allows players of the Call Of Duty franchise to access historical player stats, game summaries and edit in-game options like custom weapons sets and logos. If going through all of your stats or watching Call of Duty Elite TV gets you in the playing mood, remember you can always jump on Call Of Duty Black Ops Zombies on any Android device.

Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies has lost its exclusivity to Sony’s Xperia Play and is now made available to all devices. Finally, we can all partake in yet another zombie shoot-em-up game style. While the price is a little steep for a mobile game at $7, that’s all you have to pay to fully enjoy the game and not have to mess around with in-app purchases.
You can grab the game via the QR code or download link after the break!
What do you get when you cross Android with zombies and Call of Duty? Pure amazingness Ie. Call of Duty Black Ops: Zombies. The popularity of zombies, rather, the popularity of killing them has grown exponentially. So much so that there is a version being developed for Android and by the looks of it, is almost ready for prime time! Are you freaking out yet?
At the present time little information is known about the game but we have been able to get some stuff for you thanks to a manual obtained by Xperia Gamer. You will be able to play with your friends in multiplayer mode via bluetooth, or you can play online with people all over the world. There will be 50 levels and as you can see from the image below even some hidden ones!
Currently we have no specific time as to when the app will be unleashed in the Play store. It very well could be in the next couple hours or could be a couple days. We will be sure to update you as soon as we know something! Until then, get your game face on cause it could land any moment.
Call of Duty ELITE is a premium service for players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Activision launched a mobile app for ELITE members on iOS and Android, and it has been installed over 2 million times. With the success of the smartphone app, Activision is now working on a tablet version for both platforms.
According to Activision Product Director Noah Heller, they are “working on the tablet app right now, I can’t tell you much about it but what I can tell you is that it will be a truly native, customized application for the tablet, it’s not just a simple port.”
Optimized for a tablet’s larger screen, the app will most likely feature all the features of the smartphone app, and Heller didn’t deny the possibility of having live Heat Maps on the tablet while playing the game on your console or PC. You’ll need an ELITE account and a copy of Modern Warfare 3 on your console or computer to use the app. No other information is currently available, but we’ll be sure to post any news as we hear it.
Any ELITE members with tablets looking forward to this? Leave a comment!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is already one of the best games on consoles and PCs around. And as you might remember, we previously talked about how game developer Activision planned on introducing a social media element called Elite for Android, which would greatly enhance the overall experience of the game, right? Although the companion app encountered some delays, I am happy to announce friends that Modern Warfare 3 is about to get better than it already is— the Call of Duty Elite app is now available in the Android Market and ready for you to download. There are some pretty useful features too:
- Check your Career Summary for deep details on your multiplayer activity. Analyze your progress over time to see which areas you need to improve in and which areas you excel in.
- Review Recent Matches to track your performance on a match-by-match basis.
- View and edit your Custom Classes on the go. Push your changes into the game so you’re ready to play the moment you load up multiplayer.
- Track your Challenge progress to help you work toward the highest XP gains.
The big kicker among the features is being able to view and edit your Custom Classes on the go. That means you can make the necessary changes to your Class during your literature lecture or conference calls instead of having to wait until you get home and firing up your console or PC.
The Call of Duty Elite companion app is available free in the Android Market today or using the QR code below. While the Elite service is available for free, there’s also the ability to subscribe to the Elite service for even more features for a nominal monthly fee.

If you’re one one of the millions waiting anxiously for the release of Modern Warfare 3, look no further than this app from XDA member j.13.leach. Though the app is still in beta and the game has not yet been released, it functions as a comprehensive guide to many new perks, videos, maps, weapons and more. This isn’t the first CoD app to hit the market, but it may be among the few polished ones. It features updates twice daily, and even will alert you when new content is made public. Check it out if you’re into the CoD franchise, and tell us how it holds up.
