[Deal] Staples sending out mobile coupons, get the Chromecast for $25

Chromecast_481

Enter your phone number on Staples’ offer page and you’ll get a text message with a coupon link for $10 off your purchase of $30 or more. Staples may try to force you to carry out the sale on your device, but you can simply copy the digits from the mobile coupon and paste it in your desktop web browser to complete your sale on your computer.

As one user pointed out, you can use the deal on the Chromecast, which is normally $35— it will go down to $25 + free shipping, about $5 less than what Amazon is offering it for today in their Black Friday deal. (You won’t get the free $6 of Google Play credit of course, but if you don’t care about that/won’t use it, then this is a decent deal.)

Sprint announces holiday deals including $50 LG G2, free Galaxy S 4 Mini, and $100 port-in credit

Sprint

Sprint has officially announced some deals for the holiday season, and while they aren’t the most aggressive sales ever, it’s a good start. First on the list is the phone selection, which includes the LG G2 for $50 online and the Galaxy S 4 Mini for free, after a 50 mail-in rebate. Those deals start on Black Friday and both obviously require a two year plan.

Between the 22nd and the 27th, Sprint is offering a special to new customers. If you port your number over from any other carrier, Sprint will knock $100 off any available phone with a two-year agreement. If you port a number over and take advantage of Sprint’s One Up plan (the $0 down phone installment plan), Sprint will give you a $100 prepaid Visa card. Either way, that’s basically free money if you were considering making the switch to Sprint anyway.

Anyone thinking of taking advantage of some of these deals from Sprint?
