Verizon Planned To Sell Galaxy Nexus On Black Friday For $199, Says Oops– Just Kidding!

We know that Verizon just likes to keep everyone in suspense. Sadly it was reported earlier this week the Galaxy Nexus would indeed be pushed back for release on December 8th, but we have an interesting new finding that’s sure to raise an eyebrow or two. There are numerous indications that the phone should have been released today. Don’t believe us? Check this out: a variety of ads part of a specific campaign are running on different websites part of the NetShelter ad network. The details of the ad highlight the phone’s availability on Black Friday for $199 on a 2-year contract– $100 less than the expected price. Here’s the kicker: Verizon runs most of their major marketing campaigns through NetShelter, so it’s not a gimmick or fake. One can only wonder why Verizon chose not to release the phone today. Maybe they want to do the whole global launch thing for North America? Maybe.

White Samsung Stratosphere Exclusive to Best Buy Available Tomorrow

Verizon recently released the new and affordable, Samsung Stratosphere, a slide out QWERTY 4G device that has already been rooted and can be found for as little as $79 at Staples. If you missed it, we have already done an initial unboxing and full on review of the phone so be sure to check them out to get yourself up to speed. As far as reasonably priced 4G phones go, this has got to be one of the best options out there.

If you are someone who wants a budget friendly 4G device but still want to stand out in a crowd, you could head to Best Buy tomorrow and pick yourself up a new, white Samsung Stratosphere for $149 instead of the common blackish/grey version. This new color offering is exclusive to Best Buy so don’t think you will be able to go to Staples and pick it up for the sale price of half off. I know this sucks but I have got one even better for you.

The Stratosphere is one of the devices that Best Buy is giving away for  free with a new 2 year contract on Black Friday, white included. So if you can hold out a few more days, hit up Best Buy as early as midnight on Thursday to score one of these great phones at an even greater price. Free.

Red Droid Incredible 2 Available at Verizon on Black Friday

Wanting to get a new Droid Incredible 2 but wish it looked a bit funkier? How’s about a completely red Droid Incredible 2? That funky enough for ya? Verizon say the device will be ready for all channels on Thanksgiving so we will have to wait until Black Friday to pick this up. There is no word yet if this has anything to do with Project (Red), the successful AIDS awareness movement, but it sure would be fitting. Specs and price will likely be the same but the wow factor will definitely be increased. Do you feel like turning your Black Friday, red?
