If you have a lot of apps, sometimes finding what you’re looking for in your app list can be a bit time consuming. Android already allows you to create custom folders to make your own custom app folders, but I personally like to use Group My Apps, which is a great tool for making custom app folders with personalized icons.
The app is simple enough to use, giving you four default folders called “Game”, “Entertainment”, “Tools” and “Others”. I was hoping that the app would have already sorted some of my apps for me, but by default they are all placed in the “Others” folder to be sorted manually by the user.
However, I have found that moving apps into other folders is pretty quick, and actually faster than doing it using Androids custom folders. To move an app to a new folder, you simply press down on the app and hold for a second until a menu comes up with the option to move it to whatever folder you like. From there, you can hold down on those individual folders and add them to your homescreen, or if your homescreen is full, it will default to the next available screen.
Group My Apps also makes it easy to make your own custom folders, with a plethora of icons to pick from. So the downside is you have to group all of the apps yourself, but the plus side is for all of your hard work you’ll have all of your apps nice and organized into folders of your choosing for easier access.
Group My Apps is free to download, so if you’re looking for an easy to use solution for organizing your apps into different folders, you can hit up our app database link below and grab this app for free.
