Turcom AcoustoShock Wireless Speaker review

Are you looking for a speaker with great sound quality that you can take outdoors? Well, you may just want to consider Turcom’s AcoustoShock wireless speaker, as it’s not only rugged and durable, but has that great sound quality you’re looking for.

The Turcom AcoustoShock Wireless Speaker has more of a rugged design. In that sense, it’s very similar to the iClever Bluetooth speaker we reviewed not too long ago. The AcoustoShock’s durable and rubberized casing makes this speaker perfect for taking outdoors, as it’s very resistant to drops and other harsh environments.

The speaker also features an IPX5 rating, making the speaker very resistant to water, sand, and dust. It makes the speaker pretty chunky, but also leaves you confident in the fact that it isn’t going to break on a boat trip or on the trails.

While it does have a rugged look, it certainly isn’t an ugly speaker. While it may not be as stylish as something from Bose, Beats by Dre, or even JBL, it’s still not too shabby.

At the top of a speaker, you have a series of buttons, one for Bluetooth connectivity, switching to a previous song, playing or pausing, skipping a song, volume down, and volume up. On one side of the speaker is a power button, as well as a panel for charging the speaker, charging other smartphones, and there’s even an auxiliary port.

On the other side of the speaker is a button that releases the handle, allowing you to easily and comfortably carry the AcoustoShock wherever need be.

It’s truly not a bad speaker as far as design goes.

Some may not like the design of this speaker. I didn’t find it to be too much of a distraction, but where you’ll really be impressed with Turcom’s AcoustoShock wireless speaker is the sound. Now, sound is pretty subjective, but the AcoustoShock has phenomenal clarity.

Featuring two dual-speakers, the AcoustoShock is able to produce 2.2 channel stereo audio. There’s even two rectangular, passive sub-woofers that help create a deep bass.

I’ve played hours of music on this speaker so far, and I have to say, it’s superb. Even at maximum volume, music is clear and sounds phenomenal. It’s massive 8,000mAh battery is also able to handle playing music all day long and charge up those dead electronics when needed.

The AcoustoShock is an impressive speaker, and is the perfect fit for anyone wanting to take music outdoors, whether that be on a fishing trip on the water or out on the trails.

The speaker does cost $130 from Amazon as well as straight from Turcom. It’s a tad pricey, but if you’re looking for durability and great sound, it’s entirely worth the price.
