My Magazine is Samsung’s take on HTC’s BlinkFeed, and it also appears to be a Flipboard fork. It’s accessed by swiping up from one of your homescreens or by pressing the home button while you are on your main home screen. You will also find Flipboard pre-installed on the Note 3, but don’t be mistaken, this is a completely separate app. My Magazine offers a more simplified approach to adding content to your stream as in you can’t fine tune exact sites to follow.
It has 4 categories: News, Personal, Here and Now, and Social. “News” consists of everything from politics, sports, technology, food, etc. “Personal” consists of your calendar, gallery, emails, scrapbook, etc. “Here and Now” is all about local events and “Social” includes your social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, and more. You can quickly switch between these main categories by swiping right or left. My Magazine works very well for those that are new to using a news aggregator.
Hit the break for my video showing you how it works and be sure to check out our other Galaxy Note 3 guides.
