Filters have been a crucial feature on email for a while, but usually you have to be on a desktop computer to take advantage of them. Well, those days are over, unless you're a user of Gmail. Yahoo mail has received an update this week that includes filters. Now, when using the Android application for Yahoo mail, you can create, update, and remove filters by tapping the filter option and following the instructions. You can filter based on sender, recipient, and content. This update actually helps us all, whether or not you use Yahoo Mail. If you use Yahoo Mail, your benefit is obvious, so go ahead and update the app. If you use Gmail or another provider, maybe this update will be the impetus needed for Google to update the app and give us this much-needed improvement.
